PRENATAL MASSAGE
Prenatal massage helps you to relax, releases tension in sore muscles, improves circulation and increases mobility with a pressure that is soothing. Importantly, it’s a natural and safe choice for pain relief when the aches and strains of a growing baby become a bit too much. Prenatal massage is specifically tailored to pregnant women and the changes to their bodies. Your utmost comfort is my #1 priority! You will either be positioned on your side, propped up with pillows or will use a specially designed maternity pillow, which allows you to lie on your stomach or in a semi-reclining position. Body positioning during prenatal massage is important to ensure you can maximize the benefits of the massage and avoid putting pressure on your abdomen and disrupting blood flow. Don’t hesitate to let me know if you become uncomfortable! I have plenty of pillows.
